LIGHT ON COUNTRY

In 2018, charitable organisation Camera Story facilitated a photographic engagement program with students at Derby District High School. The two-week workshop series saw the students learn new photographic skills and push their boundaries by experimenting with artificial and natural light. Each group practised its skills in front of and behind the camera as part of a project titled Light on Country.

As part of the Light on Country program, Breckon joined Camera Story co-founder Sarah Landro in delivering a digital photography camp at Windjana Gorge with female students in year nine and 10. The group was welcomed to Country by Bunuba elder Dylan Andrews.
