Work in Progress

This developing body of work explores the loss and repair of wetland habitats in the Taieri Plain, south of Dunedin, Aotearoa (New Zealand).

The project was generously supported by the Caselberg Trust Creative Connections Residency from March to June 2024. In partnership with Te Nohoaka o Tukiauau / Sinclair Wetlands, the project benefitted from access to remaining lakes and ponds, as well as valuable conversations about the repercussions of rapid deforestation and draining from a Kāi Tahu perspective.
